Each exhibitor will have a personal event portal. This is where the organizer can push and pull information to and from the exhibitors such as service order forms or catalogue information. Exhibitors will also use these pages to provide their input for the automatically generated newsletters and they can also send electronic invitations to their business relations.</p> <h2>Invitations</h2> <p>Both the organizer and exhibitor can actively invite their relations, monitor who has accepted the invitations and send reminders to those who haven t responded. Visitors are able to see who invited them. As you can have several exhibitor users, exhibitors can measure which person from their company invited the most people or who had the highest acceptance or attendance rate.</p> <h2>Portals</h2> <p>After registering on-line, each user (visitor and exhibitor) will have a personal portal. Through this portal they can access the parallel program, news on products and companies, participate in on-line forums and subscribe to industry publications. </p> <p>The information that is available on the portal is filtered based on interests. This way the visitor is better informed about what is really of interest to him/her at the show, increasing the chances that (s)he will actually visit this event.</p> <h2>Communication: Newsletters &amp; Forums</h2> <p>Communication within Exponexion is handled on the basis of interest. In doing so, the solution adds value to the visitor, exhibitor and the organizer. </p> <p>Exhibitors can submit news items, which are categorized by subject and are sent to those with an interest in that subject. By actively using Exponexion, exhibitors can gain visibility for their company from clients and prospects prior to the event. Communication between exhibitors and visitors based on common interests prior to the event will help generate more qualified contacts during the event.</p> <p>Anyone that is registered to the event can start or participate in a forum discussion. These discussions will only be shown to those who have a marked interest in the subject of discussion.</p> <h2>VIP alerts</h2> <p>Exhibitors also have the ability to distinguish certain invitees as VIP and will receive a text alert as soon as this VIP arrives at the event.
